WPC Decking

Wood-plastic composite boards with the warm look of timber and none of the sanding, staining or sealing. The friendlier-budget choice for balconies, patios and gardens — with honest limits in fully exposed areas.

Honest fit check

Where WPC earns its keep — and where it doesn't.

It's the right call when…

  • You want the timber look without sanding, staining or sealing
  • Budget matters — WPC comes in well below aluminium
  • The area is a balcony, patio or garden with some shelter
  • You accept some fading or a board refresh years down the road

Look elsewhere when…

  • The deck is fully exposed to afternoon sun and driving rain — aluminium outlasts it
  • You never want any fading or surface wear — that's aluminium, not WPC
  • It's a heavy-use commercial space — we'll steer you to the tougher system
What it looks like finished

Timber warmth without the timber upkeep.

Wood-plastic composite carries an embossed grain, so it reads as timber from standing height and needs none of the sanding, staining or sealing that timber does in this climate.

Questions

The questions we actually get.

Short answers, and a plain no when the honest answer is that a figure is not confirmed yet.

Does WPC decking need sealing or staining?
No. That is the main reason it exists. Cleaning is washing down, not refinishing, which is the schedule nobody keeps to on a hardwood deck in this climate.
Can composite decking follow a curve?
Yes. It cuts and frames like a board, which is what makes a curved garden terrace straightforward in composite and expensive in most other materials.
How do I tell WPC and aluminium apart in a photograph?
Often you cannot, because aluminium decking is commonly sold with a wood-grain finish. Do not choose from a gallery. The board material on your job is named in your written quotation.

One photo is all it takes.

Tell us your property type and rough dimensions — we'll tell you if WPC is right for the space, and what it should cost.
